Partners, Sponsors & Contributors
ALF believes in collaboration, and we recognize the power of relationships built on trust.
Charitable contributions further ALF's mission of building a better Silicon Valley community by joining and strengthening leaders to serve the common good. The support of individual donors is critical to ALF's success, and their ongoing generosity is deeply appreciated.

ALF's $4M Network Campaign Exceeds Goal
In July of 2009, ALF announced the completion of the Network Campaign, our most ambitious fundraising effort to date. A major initiative to secure resources for the organization at an exciting time of transition, the Campaign exceeded its original $4 million mark, successfully raising more than $4.2 million.
Monies raised through the Network Campaign will create a fund to support scholarships and the Fellows program over the next 20 years and a five-year fund to support expansion projects that will significantly deepen ALF's impact on the greater community. Evidence of this work is already visible through the Common Good Collaborative, a new community outreach effort launched in the summer of 2008 that has already garnered substantial attention.
The power of ALF lies in the network. In a tremendous demonstration of commitment, more than 50% of the Senior Fellows network contributed to the campaign, with Classes XVII, XIII and XIV reaching 100% class participation. Funds secured through the Network Campaign will be used to enhance our leadership DNA and fulfill our mission of serving the common good in Silicon Valley.
ALF extends its gratititude to the Knight, Packard and Sobrato Foundations for providing challenge grants, and our deepest thanks to all contributors to the Network Campaign. For a complete list, click here.

Common Good Collaborative
In June 2008, ALF-Silicon Valley and the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation announced a partnership to create a Common Good Collaborative in Silicon Valley. Through the Common Good Collaborative, and in partnership with other community organizations, ALF is sponsoring a series of community dialogues, forums and the "Uncommon Exchange" conversation series to address pressing societal issues, explore principles of the common good and develop a framework for setting priorities in the community.
