Jayne Battey

From the uniquely restorative setting of Miramar Farms, Jayne provides a combination of senior leadership coaching and skilled program facilitation for organizations working on environmental, health, housing, education and other critical societal issues. She serves on the board of the San Francisco Bay Regional Water Quality Control Board and previously served on the boards of the Silicon Valley Community Foundation, Youth Outside, and Cabrillo Education Foundation. In 2019, Jayne co-founded the Women’s Climate Network with the goal of building the leadership and network capacity of women working in climate change and adaptation.
Prior to starting Miramar Farms, Jayne held executive roles in three organizations—as Director of Land and Environmental Management at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, as Executive Director of Pacific Forest and Watershed Lands Stewardship Council, and as founder and President of Essex Environmental.
Jayne received her Masters of Science degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science and her bachelor’s degree from Boston College. She is certified in the Everything DiSC® and Five Behaviors® leadership curriculum. Jayne is a Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum, Class XXIV.
