Sharon Binger is a Managing Director, Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Litigation of Silver Lake, the global leader in large-scale technology investing. In her role, she oversees a team of compliance professionals and is responsible for administering the firm's compliance program worldwide and overseeing the firm's litigation. Prior to joining Silver Lake, Sharon was at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where she served as the regional director of the Philadelphia Regional Office, administering the Commission's enforcement and regulatory programs for the Mid-Atlantic region. She began at the SEC in the enforcement division as an attorney and later served as an assistant director of enforcement in the New York office. Before joining the SEC, Sharon was a senior litigation associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher in New York. Sharon serves as a Trustee of the Board and Chair of the Governance Committee of Woodland School, a K-8 independent school in Portola Valley, California.

Sharon received her B.A. from Northwestern University and her J.D. with honors from Duke University. Sharon participated in ALF Class XLI.
