David Epps

David received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in 1980, received his JD from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1992 and joined the County of Santa Clara in 1994. David is an advocate for advancing social justice and equity in the criminal justice system. As an administrator, he worked collaboratively with the district attorney, law enforcement agencies, the courts, probation, county executive, board of supervisors, community-based organizations, and other justice system partners to find ways to improve efficiency, reduce disproportionality, and reduce recidivism with the goal of enhancing public safety and justice. David graduated with ALF Class XXIX.
