ALF Learning Circle: Income Volatility & Employer Response

Financial insecurity is a growing problem in America, caused by inadequate liquid savings and uncertain, often erratic income and expenses. This affects a wide swath of Americans (well beyond low-income workers), negatively affecting their productive participation in the workforce.

The purpose of this learning circle is to better understand the factors that could cause employers to adopt programs that promote their employees’ financial security, the types of programs they might consider and the benefits they perceive from taking this step.
