And the best class is…

Spoiler: It’s yours, of course. And everyone else’s!

Because being the “best class” isn’t about bragging rights. It’s about the connections, the friendships, the personal growth, and the impact of leadership that continues long after graduation. Every class carries that forward.

Like Class XXXIX, our “COVID Class”, which had the longest class experience in the history of ALF Silicon Valley, and Class XXVII, which still holds monthly check-ins, and Class XLII, which continues to deepen its learning from one another through a book club.

Connections like these are why we’re asking you to make a gift today—to keep those bonds strong and make sure every new class has the same chance to be the “best.”

And it doesn’t stop with classes. Nearly half of our Senior Fellows are members of an affinity group. ALF Affinity Groups create spaces where fellows deepen their leadership and support one another across industries and generations. Your gift helps groups like these thrive.

Then there’s ALF Insights, our in-house consulting service focused on bringing the cornerstones of ALF into the workplace through strategic planning, organizational assessment, culture change, and board development. In the past year, we have completed strategic plans for the San Jose Parks Foundation, the School of Arts and Culture, and West Valley Community Service, all cornerstones of our local community. And we have started an Executive Women’s Coaching Circle led by ALF Senior Fellow Tanja Powers of Class XLII. Your support allows us to keep these critical services affordable and available.

So what does it mean to be the best? It means creating a ripple of leadership and belonging across Silicon Valley, from your class to affinity groups to future leaders—Fellows Program tuition covers only part of the cost. We invite you to be part of that ripple with a contribution today. Together, we’ll make sure every class can proudly claim the title of “best.”

With gratitude,
