As the United Nations declared in 2017, climate change is “the challenge of our generation”. From extreme heat to sea level rise, to wildfire and rapid cycles of drought and flooding, it is clear that the climate crisis is upon us.
Please join the American Leadership Forum Sustainability Group for a special dialogue to learn more about the challenges and risks that are impacting our region; consider your role in adaptation, mitigation, and drawdown; and help us explore new opportunities for cross-sector action.
Come prepared to join in the dialogue and hear from a panel that includes our special guests: Julie Beagle of the San Francisco Estuary Institute; Andrew Gunther, Climate Scientist; and Dave Pine San Mateo County Board of Supervisors.
