Bystander Intervention Training
Bystander Intervention Training

ALF’s AAPI Caucus, Black@ALF, and La Comunidad for Justice, Equity, & Inclusion invite our ALF network to join us for this training provided by CAIR: Council on American Islamic Relations. In this time of resurging anti-Asian hate and attacks, we need allies from all backgrounds to understand how you can help. We all have opportunities to act in solidarity with the many communities that are targeted with hate and discrimination.
Bystander Intervention Training teaches bystanders about the principles of nonviolence and de-escalation techniques. In this training, participants learn hands-on skills about how to de-escalate a hate incident before it leads to violence, how to create a safe space, and how to support the person being targeted.
