Growing the ALF Network at the Annual Board Retreat
On September 24, the ALF Silicon Valley Board of Directors gathered at Miramar Farms in Half Moon Bay for the annual board retreat. Set against the picturesque backdrop of the farm’s gardens and the iconic redwood barn, the group dedicated a full day to important strategic governance in support of the mission and people of ALF Silicon Valley.
Of course, an ALF board retreat wouldn’t be complete without officially welcoming new members to the leadership team. On this day, the board voted to add ten new members, bringing the total number of active members to twenty-five, which aligns with the board’s bylaws for representing the ALF network. In addition to enhancing the team’s diversity of backgrounds and experiences, the board also voted on a new slate of officers, with a focus on ensuring a smooth transition to the next permanent CEO.
