We are pleased to welcome Amy Nguyen as the new Chief Operating Officer at American Leadership Forum Silicon Valley.
Amy joins ALF Silicon Valley at a time of much change in the organization. She brings more than a decade of leadership experience across government and non-profit management. She has worked for several ALF Senior Fellows, such as the Budget and Policy Director for Cindy Chavez (Class XII), the Principal Assistant to County Superintendent Mary Ann Dewan (Class XXII), and the Deputy Chief of Staff for Santa Clara County Supervisor Margaret Abe-Koga (Class XXXIX).
Amy received her B.A. with Honors from UC San Diego in Economics and Ethnic Studies, her Master of Arts in Economics from the University of South Carolina, and her J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law.
While in law school, Amy worked as Erica Yew’s judicial intern and earned Erica’s trust as someone who would bring operational excellence, strategic thinking, and deep commitment to serving our network and community.
Amy joined ALF Silicon Valley in February 2026 to support fundraising efforts during a period of transition, bringing valuable experience from her time as Development Director at the Asian Law Alliance. She quickly fit in with the team and grew deeply committed to ALF’s mission, making it a natural progression for her to step into a larger role as COO.
Please join us in welcoming Amy to the team!
