It’s Wilderness Week for Class XLV. Do you remember yours?
The members of Class XLV have arrived at base camp. They’re dreading/eager/supporting each other, deep in the heart of the ALF experience.
They’ll be rock climbing today. Do you remember that? They’re sleeping in the tent cabins. The ascent starts tomorrow. And then their solos. I’d forgotten that I spent some of my solo time on a rock outcropping, overlooking the Sierra ridges, writing a letter to my wife. She still has it.
