Creating New Rhythms

Fellows Class XLIII & Class XLIV Create New Rhythms Together!

On Friday, March 8th, we gathered at the School of Arts & Culture with the current Fellows of Class XLIII, and the soon-to-be-announced Fellows of Class XLIV!

This annual early spring session, known as Creating New Rhythms, is a unique opportunity for the incoming Fellows to meet and connect with members of the current class who help introduce the new cohort to the Fellows Program experience.

As in years past, the group drumming experience was a central part of this pre-orientation session. Led by guest facilitators and Senior Fellows PJ (Class XXIX) and Roy (Class XVIII) Hirabayashi, Chike Nwoffiah (Class XXI), and Lidia Doniz of Mexica Traditional Dance Circle, the drumming activity facilitated a deeper connection between the Fellows and serves as a metaphor for the collaborative nature of the broader ALF journey.

We’re incredibly grateful to the School of Arts & Culture for hosting us for the day! Thank you!

Stay tuned for the official announcement of Fellows Class XLIV in an upcoming e-newsletter.

In the meantime, you can meet current Fellows from Class XLIII here. Stay tuned for an official recap and photos from Class XLIII’s graduation scheduled for March 22!
