Are You All In?

An astounding 70% of Senior Fellows from the last five classes are actively collaborating with each other. In case you missed it, here is an incredible story of impact from the Fellows Class that graduated earlier this year.

This year’s annual campaign embraces the power and potential of a united network, a move away from the class competitions of the past. Introducing ALF’s All-In Campaign–a dynamic movement aimed at reigniting our network’s passion for ALF and reinforcing our dedication to collective action.

The All-In Campaign aims to raise $600,000 this year to fund scholarships, network weaving and impact support. We’re almost halfway there, but we need your support to close the gap!

It’s thanks to your steadfast support and belief in our mission that we can proudly share some of the impact we’ve achieved:

Fellows Program Impact
As we intentionally grow our program, we reflect the community we serve, with 60-70% of Fellows as people of color. The current class achieved the largest number of private sector participants for some time now, comprising two-thirds of the cohort.

Senior Fellow Impact
ALF Silicon Valley has over ten Affinity Groups led by committed Senior Fellows to regularly share knowledge, collaborate, and connect. The impact of leaders continues beyond affinity group engagement. Senior Fellows have stepped up and introduced a new series of dialogue events through initiatives like The Power of We, San Francisco / East Bay Lunch and Learns, and ALF Women’s Gatherings. These quarterly events provide an opportunity to dialogue with a diverse group of leaders caring for a cause.

Scholarship Contribution
Current tuition is $18,750. Annually, we direct $100,000 towards scholarships. These scholarships break down financial barriers that may otherwise prevent a group of talented individuals from joining our program.

“ALF has changed my life… I initiated DEI efforts in both my satellite company and my medical non-profit, substantially affecting the way these organizations are run… I met people I never would have met, which opened my eyes to philanthropy, non-profits, low-income housing, and mental health…it also changed how I invest and do philanthropy.” –Chris Cheng, Class XXXIX, ALF Silicon Valley Board Member, CEO, Global Science and Technology, Inc.

Now serving as the ALF National Headquarters, ALF Silicon Valley is connecting and activating 5,000 ALF Alumni from 46 states and 8 chapters using a soon-to-be-released online platform. The interconnectivity of our network is about to grow in a big way, and Silicon Valley can’t do this without your support.

When each member contributes to the greater good, every effort ripples across our entire community. Our ALF community is making positive change happen. Thank you for being an essential part of our network and your unwavering commitment to our mission.

Support the important work of ALF Silicon Valley with a gift of any size.

With gratitude,

Suzanne St. John-Crane
Chief Executive Officer
Class XXV / Urbanism XXXIV
ALF National Interim Executive Director
