Do you remember being two weeks out from your ALF Wilderness Experience?

ALF Silicon Valley’s Gold Lake Wilderness Experience: It’s a rite of passage, common ground we share.* At this point, what were you thinking? How hard is the last ascent? Do I really have to sleep on a mat—on the ground? Will the week be worth my time?

That’s where Class XLV is today.

The ALF Wilderness Experience, like everything else, costs way more today. It’s challenging to keep it at the center of the class experience.

If your Wilderness Week was memorable, like mine, please chip in. ALF’s network of support = its network of Senior Fellows. You made a lifetime of connections through ALF Silicon Valley. Please give back today.

And if you want to share a wilderness memory that I can re-share to the network, I’d love to hear about your experience.

*Thank you, Class XXXIX (’20-’21), for your COVID wilderness-lite 18-month experience!
